Seniors Who Suffer From Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis is a unique disease that damages the nerve cells that link signals from your brain to spinal cord. It is unique in that symptoms can occur in relapse attacks where the complications worsen after each attack, or the symptoms simply progress over time.
Elderly and Senior individuals with MS can suffer from physical and cognitive disabilities including coordination and balance issues, mobility issues, muscle weakness, speech, language, and swallowing problems, fatigue, chronic pain, vision loss or blurriness, and incontinence.
Most Elderly and Seniors with Multiple Sclerosis are coping with an advanced stage of the disease that makes activities of daily living incredibly difficult. If your loved one has MS, an experienced and compassionate caregiver from A-1 Domestic Professional Services can give you peace of mind in providing home care and daily living assistance for your loved one in the comfort of their home.
