Depending on what part of the brain was injured, the damage can be temporary or long term and affect bodily functions such as memory loss, ability to process information, speech, language, and swallowing issues, behavioral issues, mobility and balance limitations, and loss of vision, hearing, or smell.

If your Elderly or Senior loved one has suffered a brain injury and is back from rehabilitation, the caregivers at A-1 Domestic can continue providing in-home care and assistance with activites of daily living as your loved one gets situated into their normal way of life. A-1 Domestic provides experienced and compassionate Brain Injury Care & Tumor Care on a 24 hour Live-In Care or Hourly Care basis. If your loved one is recovering from a malignant or benign brain tumor surgery or rehabilitation therapy/chemotherapy, our Brain Tumor Caregivers can provide dedicated personal care to facilitate a quick recovery.

All of our Brain Injury & Tumor caregivers, nurse aides, companions, and home helpers must have prior at home caregiving experience, verifiable professional references, a National Background Check/DMV Check, Tuberculosis testing, Malpractice/Liability insurance, First Aid/CPR training, and a personal interview with our office staff.
