Today, A-1 Home Care held an Interactive Story Time event at Regency Oaks Post Acute in Long Beach. We celebrated the season of Autumn using colorful fall images in a PowerPoint presentation while Case Manager Jackie Brown read poetry by Robert Frost, Judith A. Lawrence, Thomas McGrath, Sara Teasdale, Walter De La Mare and other poets. A-1 Home Care staff members Jeanette Tan, Helen Dagdagan and Autumn Sherman helped to engage the residents by circulating Indian corn, spices and maple leaves around the attendees.
The senior and elderly residents of this beautiful convalescent care center seemed to really enjoy the chance to reminisce about seasons and holidays past and were ready to anticipate the forthcoming holidays. Special thanks are offered to Activity Director Jessica for allowing A-1 Home Care to come and entertain her residents while they recover from surgery or illnesses. Our staff strives to make a difference for seniors by providing community service events such as today’s Autumn Story Time and crafts.
For 23 years, A-1 Home Care has provided warm and professional in home care services to seniors, veterans, elderly and the disabled in Long Beach, Seal Beach, Signal Hill, Rossmoor, Westminster, Los Alamitos and other cities in Los Angeles County and Orange County
